Event Information:
Date/Time:  Tuesday @ 1p (Buses leave at 12:45) AND Wednesday @ 8a (Buses leave at 7:30)
Location:  Ag Arena
Review Time:  15-20 minutes after the last set of reasons on Wednesday (average time in past is 1:30-2p)
Review Location:  Ag Arena
Attire:  Official Dress on both days; no open toed shoes

Event Type: 
Individual and/or Team of 4 (all scores count)

Individual Materials:  
2- #2 Pencils
Notebook paper or Portfolio for taking notes on classes
Group Materials:  
same as individuals

Before the Contest:
Review CDE Guidlines
Secure appropriate dress
Prepare and review for all components

Causes for Disqualification:
Cheating in any way; talking during exam or judging; and use of electronic device

Tie Breaker:
Written Exam then

2 Sets Oral Reasons

1 Halter and 1 Performance

Team Event Scenario

100 pts.

Team members work to solve problem in the scenario and present results to judges.

Example team scenarios:  marketing/current trends, animal welfare/first aid, nutrition, anatomy, and management
